Awilda Diaz Promoted to Mainspring Bilingual Project Manager
Awilda Diaz has done an amazing job connecting with in-home child care business owners and community child care stakeholders to support the expansion of Mainspring Early Care Alliance within Kent County. Her work has been instrumental in ensuring Mainspring’s growth and impact.

Kiana Zaderej Garcia Promoted to Program Manager for Ready by Five
Kiana Zaderej Garcia has accepted the newly created position of Program Manager for Ready by Five. Her leadership has been vital in helping First Steps Kent run the Ready by Five Early Childhood Millage efficiently and effectively.
“I’m excited to take on this new role as Program Manager for Ready by Five,” said Kiana. “Working alongside this team has been an incredible journey, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished to meet the needs of our community. I’m deeply committed to continuing this important work by streamlining processes and building strong partnerships to help families and children thrive.
