Welcome Home Baby

When you are pregnant or have a little one, everyday can have its challenges. The Welcome Home Baby Hub is a free service that connects families to resources that help good people become great parents.

Whether you are pregnant, have a newborn, or have a toddler, parent support programs offer proven tools to help you set and reach goals for yourself and your child.

Welcome Home Baby exists as a means to ensure all families are offered information and referrals to the numerous home visiting options and early childhood resources available in Kent County.

We can connect you to on-going support for you and your baby through:

  • Home visiting programs
  • Playgroups
  • Child development information
  • Additional community resources as needed

If you are interested in more information please contact Heather Boswell (hboswell@firststepskent.org).

About Welcome Home Baby

As a First Steps Kent (FSK) Demonstration Project since 2012, Welcome Home Baby (WHB) has served thousands of mothers with newborns within Kent County.  We regret that we need to inform partners and families that we have to make the decision to discontinue the one-time Welcome Home Baby Home Visits.

For questions please contact Heather Boswell.
